Ladies, do you have perfectly good bridesmaid dresses that you will never wear again taking up room in your closet?? I know I do. Even though we were told we would be able to “use them again” . . . come on, really?
The SC Bar Young Lawyers Division is collecting gently used formal gowns, cocktail dresses, shoes, handbags and the likes for a wonderful cause – The Cinderella Project. The Chapin Chamber is also involved in this project and is asking for your help! A Boutique is held prior to prom season, so girls in need can “shop” for all their prom needs in one place for FREE. They get to try on as many dresses, shoes, etc. as they like and put together just the right outfit for their big night. You would be amazed at the tears of happiness that flow on this day.
Soooo, let’s drag out those dresses and dust’em off for charity. Plus, who doesn’t need a little more room in their closets? I apologize for the short notice, but items need to be dropped off at the Chapin Chamber House by next Thursday. Dresses should be in good condition and on hangers. Shoes should be placed in shoe boxes or plastic grocery bags. If you don't know where the Chapin Chamber House is or would rather drop off your donations to me personally, call me at 351-9771 and we can meet at the studio!!
Please call or email me if you need more info.
